My name is Laura and organising has become part of my life out of necessity rather than striving for perfection. Living in a busy family home has taught me how quickly spaces can stop working — and how important it is to adapt them as life changes.
With every new child came a new set of challenges — more clothes, more belongings and more routines to rethink. Seasonal wardrobes needed rotation, baby equipment came and went. As the children got bigger, prams and car seats gave way to bikes, toys, sports kits and instruments.
We’ve moved house multiple times as our family has grown, adapting to new layouts and ever-changing amounts of storage. We’ve lived in both the city and the countryside, managing everything from muddy wellies to smart clothes, all while keeping life practical and lived-in.
We’ve also moved countries, which meant a complete reset, letting go of most of what we owned, rethinking what we actually needed to live well and setting up a new home from almost nothing. It was a delicate balancing act: keeping enough familiar, sentimental items to create a sense of security, without holding on to things simply for the sake of it.
My experience means I’m no stranger to big transitions and major resets, as well as quieter, one-room-at-a-time approaches.
I’ve developed a realistic, flexible approach to organising. I understand that homes need to work for real people, busy families, and changing lives. My focus is on creating systems that can adapt as life evolves — not rigid rules, but practical solutions that bring clarity, calm and ease to everyday living.
About me
My name is Laura, and organising became part of my life out of necessity rather than striving for perfection. Living in a busy family home showed me how quickly spaces can stop working — and how important it is to adapt them as life changes.
As our family grew, so did the challenges — changing routines, shifting storage needs, and multiple house moves in both city and countryside settings. We’ve also moved countries, which meant starting again with very little and being intentional about what we kept and how we lived.
These experiences shaped a realistic, flexible approach to organising. I focus on systems that work for real people and changing lives — practical solutions that bring clarity, calm, and ease to everyday living.
